Loving to Hate New Music

Music is alive and evolving, and when it comes to classical music, the many different trends are as varied as human imagination.

This lecture-performance by the music director of the Lowell Chamber Orchestra, will use videos of past performances of LCO to guide audiences into the world of contemporary music.

During the afternoon, audience members will learn about some of the most popular and innovative sounds, and techniques, and will connect to the philosophies of the time.

Free and open to the public. Donations requested at the door.
